Frequently asked questions

How can I set the position of the sliders around the scope more precisely?
Press the Alt-key while moving a slider to disable the snapping to subdivs.
-
Why can't I decrease the vertical size of the main window as much as I want?
This is because all docking windows are on the right by default and need that much space vertically. To decrease the window size further you can move some of them to the left side for example.

Why does OpenHantek not support lower timebases than 10 ns?
Timebases below 10 ns haven't been implemented in OpenHantek because the maximum samplerate of the fastest Hantek USB DSOs is 250 MS/s. With a timebase of 10 ns you will have one sample every 0.4 divs, which makes 25 samples on the whole scope screen. There's no difference in the maximum samplerate though, so you can see as much details with OpenHantek as you would see with the official windows software.
